It’s Time For a Trip to Your State Capitol on January 19th…

gunTomorrow (January 19th, 2013) millions of Americans will be descending on their state capitols to demand that our government officials respect the 2nd amendment.

I am asking anyone who can help this post go viral to please do so. If we expect Obama and other gun control advocates to take us seriously then we must unite now. It can not wait. It must happen now.

The lawmakers need to be overwhelmed. They need to hear our voices as we say in unison… YOU CAN NOT AND WILL NOT TAKE OUR GUNS. This is not and never has been negotiable. The 2nd amendment protects our right to bear arms in this country. States like New York and Illinois are acting unconstitutionally and we need your support at all 50 state capitols.

I don’t want to turn this into a long article but let’s get the word out. If anyone is looking for more information, there is an event going on Facebook that I can direct you to. https://www.facebook.com/events/144639815690301/

This is the best source I have found and includes information for all 50 states, but if you need verification just Google it. Peaceful demonstrations are being planned in all 50 states We can not let ourselves play the hypocrite. If we really care then we need to put some gas in the car and gather in peaceful support and let them see what they are up against should they come to take our guns.

It’s time for us to put up or shut up!

Please, I am begging you to pass this along to everyone you know. This is a small readership blog and we simply do our best. I can not make a difference without your help. Even if we can get this  in front of 5000 people in the next 24 hours it will help. Great things are achieved when everyone works together toward a common goal. God Save the Republic!

God Bless You All, My Patriotic Friends,

  1. Reblogged this on suburbandomesticzombie and commented:
‘I cannot go myself, but I urge every able-bodied person who can go, GO!!!

  2. Hi Dean, I wanted to correct a couple of mistakes in your article. Gun Appreciation Day is a coalition of gun rights and conservative groups. This group is asking gun owners to go to their local gun ranges and gun sellers to show support. Here is the link to the Gun Appreciation Day page. http://www.facebook.com/NationalGunAppreciationDay?ref=ts&fref=ts

The link in your article is for an event called Guns Across America asking people to go to their state capitol for pro gun rallies. Guns Across America was started by Eric Reed who created the page Gun Control = More Crime on November 1 2012. I started following Gun Control = More Crime shortly after Sandy Hook, before he got the idea for the rally. It has been incredible watching his page and the event spread across the country. I’ve seen all his hard work and the time he devoted to make this happen, truly inspiring!
    I love your articles!!!

P.S. It is capitol not capital. Capitol is used for the state and federal legislative buildings. Please don’t think me a spelling/grammar nazi.

    • I thought capital was for state and capitol was for federal. Anyway I have changed the pic and I am going to make sure I am wrong on the other thing before changing it. LOL Thanks for your help.

      • Fixed it all. I am still confused about the difference between capitol and capital. LOL I think the difference is in whether you are talking about the building itself or the city it rests in. Is that basically correct? Anyway, it’s imperfect but if it gets a few people to do then it was worth it. Thanks everyone for helping.
