Allen West certainly took a lot of heat for his comments of April 10, 2012 but like everything else, many people stand on their opinions without bothering to support them. Today I want to prove to you that the correlation that West was drawing between the Congressional Progressive Caucus, and socialism is absolutely correct.
First let’s attach the most current list of the CPC that I was able to find. The list was not dated but I believe it is from the 112th congress. For now let’s draw no conclusions from this list. We will vindicate Allen West later. This is simply a list of the CPC. I would like to add that Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama are both former members, however.

OK if we were to stop right here then both Allen West and myself would be left swinging in the wind. Just because someone belongs or did belong to the Congressional Progressive Caucus, it does not necessarily mean they are socialists. So far that is simply an allegation and we have shown no proof. I am going to give you just a taste of a very powerful report that blows this story wide open and then you can do further research if you would like.
The CPC has deep connections to the Democratic Socialists of America and openly promotes its ideology. The DSA is the socialist organization in America today with thousands of members working to bring about the end of our republic as we know it.
In 1999 WorldNetDaily.com reported that the DSA hosted the website of the CPC. Within days of the publication of this report, the CPC removed its site from the DSA server and information connecting the organizations was then washed from the websites of the CPC and DSA. For anyone who is interested in researching this topic, you can make very deep connections between these two organizations. The source of my information is an excellent place to start. But, in a matter of 30 seconds you won’t really need to do further research. I will make the correlation for you.
I want to move on, because I feel the need to make another connection that no one has seemed to make. In 2009, in a controversial move, the Democratic Socialists of America released a list of then current members who were elected members of congress. When you compare the two lists you will start to get to the truth. This list is from the 111th congress, those in bold-print have a special significance:

Allen West is not crazy. Do you find it suspect that many of the same names from the CPC are also admitted members of the Democratic Socialists of America?
Here are the things we need to keep in mind, in my opinion:
- The lists are from two different sources. One is an accused socialist group, and the other is an acknowledged socialist group, but notice how closely they match.
- The lists are from two different congresses. Comparing the 111th and 112th congress is the reason for some of the disparity.
- The list for the 112th congress is larger, which would seem to indicate growth in the movement.
- We are now in the 113th congress so more “progressive” momentum could be happening as we speak.
- I think in all fairness we must consider those who are potential socialists who are still very much in hiding. The people on these lists will have a hard time denying it, but there are others.
So what have I proven today? What if there really are 78-81 socialists in congress? Is socialism a dirty word?
It is to me. I believe socialism is a dangerous form of government that has never proven to work for the good of its people. And as Vladimir Lennin said, “The goal of socialism is communism.”
We all know the dangers of communism. Right?
I am going to keep beating this dead horse until people listen. This is a battle that this country must not lose. If we lose this battle then we lose our rights. My freedom means everything to me.
My opinion is that anyone who has a favorable view of socialism probably hasn’t done much research into world history.

Dean, there is a historical and direct connection between fascists, socialist, communists and their rebranding as “progressives”. No speculation, no conjecture… It’s in the history books. Alas, no one reads history these days.

Did you know that Allen Wests comment about communists in the Democratic Party was rated by politicifactas”pants on fire.” Have you ever attended a public school, driven on a paved road or freeway, been in a public park, a state university, a national park, used 911, used the police, a fire department, or benefited from the milita? Congratulations… You have participated in collectivism.. Tax pay or supported services.. A type or degree if socialism. What don’t you do a seance and bring back Sen. McCarthy.. And have another house committee on unamerican activities.. Except, wait..those witch hunts are .. Well…unamerican.

SENATOR McCarthy was NOT in charge of the HOUSE Committee on Unamerican Activites. One is the Senate and one is the House of Representatives. Senators don’t preside over House committees. Get your gov’t and history correct before ranting about things like this. You just proved that you are just regurgitating the lies you were told by the progressives (fabians – look it up) who have infiltrated our education system.

In school I was taught he was a whack job. Seriously I was. And I am 44. That’s been awhile ago. There is no doubt we have been conditioned for years.
I find it interesting that most public school text books are vetted in Texas. A state which one would think to be right leaning. Am I incorrect? Just wondering….
Some school books accepted by TX in the recent few years are alarmingly progressive, actually. Some books went so far as to promote Hispanic culture over Anglo culture and label some figures incorrectly and even leave out the Founders in some cases. Parents need to carefully scrutinize the books chosen by their local school board.
I would heavily suggest giving your kids “A Patriot’s History of the United States” @2002. It covers all the bases quite well.

Two great books on Senator McCarthy are: “Blacklisted By History: The Untold Story of Sen. Joseph McCarthy and His Fight Against America’s Enemies” by Stanton Evans, and “Joseph McCarthy: Reexamining the Life and Legacy of America’s Most Hated Senator” by Arthur Herman. Both books offer a clear and concise history of Joe McCarthy’s background, and tenure as a Senator from Wisconsin. Using actual government documents and historical records, both biographers strive to offer an empirical view of the Senator, unclouded by bias, smears or innuendo. Two more great sources are “The Venona Secrets: Exposing Soviet Espionage & America’s Traitors” by Herbert Romerstein & Eric Breindel and “Witness” by Whittaker Chambers

I do find listening and reading about progressives so interesting.. and so transparent.
I will say this. Much blood and sacrifice has gone into building this country. Thinking we can switch to this utopian model is simply dangerous. If Obama has his way we will end up with 150 total nuclear warheads while Iran and North Korea continue their build up. I deal in reality. The reality is that Americans are hated around the world. The reality is that our military and southern defenses are being weakened while we send military aid to Egypt? This country has always been about “dangerous freedom” and even if the goal is not a communistic state, a socialistic utopian state is just as dangerous, for two reasons:
1- It makes us ripe for lots of “pay back.”
2- It makes us ripe for a corrupt leader who will bring in the communist state, even if that leader is not Obama.
So yes, I love my country. But I can not love it by showering it with roses and driving the economy into the ground. We need strength and we need freedoms.

FBI officials dragged him off to a mental hospital because he posted things similar to this article on facebook. They effectively took away his freedom of speech and declared him insane. If the ghost of Reagan were in office and doing that to progressives, you would be angry. This is the direction of our government. Freedoms are being eroded. Please keep in mind also how Obama and his mob ruined “Joe the Plumber” after his honesty in the 2008 campaign. He is now bankrupt and had to close his plumbing business. This is a fine example of the repressive tolerance of the left and what awaits us in a future Obamanation or socialistic state on a wide scale.

Definition of insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results: Communism does NOT work. Those who rule at the top take everything and rule the people by forcing them into poverty, but an ‘equal’ poverty. Communism seeks to take away private ownership of property, sanctioning State ownership of said property; Communism wants no one to have thoughts against the State, or of a ‘better way to do things’ – this from former Soviet subjects, I mean citizens; State control of all information which is used against the population (this is the danger of universal health care AND national gun registration).
Communism is seen as a Scientific way to “govern”, but as a bringer of Utopia, it is a miserable failure. Communist nations are aggressive, controlling, and the people are in abject poverty (except the Ruling Class). They indoctrinate the people with state-sponsored propaganda, through state-run news sources. (Read 1984 again – this was written with an eye toward communism).
Do not think that these Progressives in our government are benevolent – they have a mission, they serve a different master, and they should be ousted as treasonous as they do not intend to uphold the constitution, which oath they have sworn upon their inaugurations.
