I had a part-time job with Walmart for almost four years.  Corporate will not order any ammo because they do not want to get stuck with something they cannot sell later.  There may be talk of limiting purchases, or prohibiting specific rounds.  The first is more likely.  Walmart simply does not want to sit on any ammo, they like in the dock and out the door.  If the second scenario is likely, that is scary, as they sell only rounds for sporting ammo.

On the positive side, the Wallyworld I worked at never sold guns while I worked there.  When I stopped in last time, they sold guns, had the order catalog, and were almost out of guns and ammo.  This was about 10 days ago.  The clerk and I discussed a few things, including his carry permit, local robberies, and the unwise decision on the parts of some to insist on breaking and entering.  I am surprised Walmart is even selling guns in this store, as they have a high shrinkage rate there.

They are just making the proper corporate decision to limit the potential for losses.  Corporations generally take no moral stands.

The scary part is that they feel a need to do this.  Keep on top of things.  The NRA has a link where you can send a letter to Obama and your Congressmen.  You can type in your own text, or use a form letter.  I advise you to make your own personal position known to those who are going to vote on any gun bill.  I did.  Obama has not gotten back to me yet.  Nor have my Congressmen, but two of them are Democrats like me.

Good luck, America.

About responsible2all

I am a working stiff who finds it hard to get all the bills paid sometimes. I am basically happy with my far-from-boring, crazy, albeit fulfilled life. But I have watched the earth and the people upon it for a very long time now. And I know that the Freedoms of the Upper Man, whose last stronghold on earth is the United States of America, are under constant attack by the Scarlet Babylonian Antichrist, and by the Beast upon who She rides. So now, after all of these years of obscurity behind the Green Hedge, beneath the Veil of the Chuppah, above the Smoky Glass Ceiling, it is time to speak of the things which I have always Known, and have seen and heard, and have been taught on that Fateful Day, by John Daniel.

On what grounds are you a democrat? Not trying to start any issues. No disrepsect intended, but with what the democrat party is trying to do to our Republic, how can anyone associate with them. And before you ask, I changed my party affiliation two years ago from republican to Independant.
I am just curious of the mindset of a democrat in this invironment.
    Thanks for any reply

    • I think he’s old school. There were some great democrats in the day. I also left the Republicans to go independent. The Rinos are destroying us as well. One of my fears is that the Repulicans will roll over on gun legislation.

      • Bulldog says:

I truly believe they (rinos) have been trained well and always roll over. My hope is that we can start a true Conservatice party. But I doubt if the establishment will allow it. We tried the grass roots thing with the tea party, etc., nut they have managed to demonize and shut down them as well as any other opposition to the DC game.
I like the site yall have, good opinions, etc. Keep it up

    • Chad Miller says:

In respects to your changing your political affiliation, Bulldog, I went Independent from Republican myself after John RINO McCain’s abysmal 2008 Presidential bid. That entire fiasco was a disgrace with the exception of his pick for a running mate. I did like Palin, and It had gotten to the point towards the end that I was wishing she would just give McCain a high heeled drop kick to the nads and run for President herself. But the liberal medias vicious bias in their almost serial killeresque obsession by their unceasing attacks on her was astounding to witness. Just from that alone, I couldn’t understand how they even managed to continue feeling entitled to even a shred of credibility.

  2. I agree that corporations do not normally take moral stands, but my biggest fear is that they are being bought. Nice piece Gary. it is awesome to have you on board even if you do vote left handed. 🙂

I wish that wally world was only chosing this for financial reasons. I think it is a trend that is going to start being more common. Ebay and Craigslist have removed all sales of mags more than ten rounds, Dick’s Sporting Goods has stopped selling AR style weapons. I am afraid that Academy is next. Obama has just spoke to the press this morning saying that he will take executive action and announce it this week. We are in deep doodoo and it is getting deeper by the day. I pray that the majority of Americans will stand thier ground on this one.

      • American people have been getting ready for this ever since obama took office ,they have been buying guns and ammo for years we have enough guns and ammo right now to take this country back,if obama wants to try to take the 2nd amendment, time for him to stop running his muslim mouth, the sooner he gets this war started the sooner we can get him for treason run his ass back to kenya,American Hunters is the largest army in the world, mess with the 2nd ,there’s millions hope you do setting ready to defend our 2nd at all costs the sooner the better, either leave us along or go for it,you’re going to cause thousands to die to save just one life,How stupid can you be?Go ahead just take 1 right away you’ll get a taste of what Hell is

  3. Ed Mitchell says:

Luck is going to have nothing to do with this.

  4. Lordchamp says:

This is where one of the main attacks is going to come from. Limit our access by controlling where we get things. It’s all the same ball of wax. Control of the masses. Wake up folks, it’s not going to get any better than it is right now. Tomorrow will be worse, and the next day worse. They will not stop until we are destroyed and compliant.

  5. Katrinka Yobotz says:

Bulldog said, “My hope is that we can start a true Conservative party.” We’re way ahead of you. Join us at America’s Party.

  6. Jim Ives says:

Again “By my cold dead hands” Semper Fi

  7. My local Wallyworld has guns and ammo again. For now. People are still buying. I am a registered Democrat. I was an Independent for years. Often no one was on the ballots as Independents, and most Independent candidates are to idealistic on practical matters, whether left or right. Philosophically, I identify with the Dems. Equality for all races, for women, women in combat roles, having a woman president (but not Hillary, Feinstein or Pellozi) gay marriage, decriminalization of marijuana, getting pulled over for driving while black, helping the disabled, equal job opportunity for all, availability of higher education to all, etc. On the main issues, such as foreign aid, handouts to those capable of working, abrogation of the Constitution, States rights, abortion, freedom of religion, etc., I am very conservative. The former list is modern day Democrat. The latter list is old school Democrat. Look up the Democratic Party’s positions in, say, 1945-1960.

  8. Those in power today were elected by the Dems, but are not Dems. They are Liberal Agendanistas.
