Apparently a lot of people were reading my little article on my proposal for reasonable rules of engagement in case of an uprising in our country. I want to clarify a few things.

There are a lot of hotheads in this country who want to start shooting at the drop of a hat. That is counterproductive. Exactly what is their agenda, the complete dismantling of everything we have, or the preservation of the Republic? These are the types who later end up vying for control in a power vacuum. They want to create this vacuum. Be wary of them.

I for one want to preserve the Republic and the Constitution. This means via civilized means, via restraint, via non-violence. My article merely outlines what I believe would be a reasoned, restrained, and incremental response to violence initiated by the opposition. A little like chess; they advance, we check that move, and so on, until checkmate. I essentially aimed my article at all of the hotheads. My secondary consideration was knowing that this article, the comments ensuing, and the article’s potential spread throughout cyberspace would be monitored by the opposition. All of you, think about peace first. Then think about how you will respond to a crisis, while you still have time to think about it.

I advocate defensive posturing, not aggressive posturing. Arms are merely the final possibility, once all other possibilities are exhausted. The opponents of the 2nd Amendment need to make the first moves. But bear in mind, the very real threat of arms are what back up the citizens in their initial non-violent responses to those first moves. Guns are the teeth of the Second Amendment. Its placement in the second spot in the Bill of Rights was intentional.

Apparently, 70% of our police are ready to engage the other 30% of the police during an outright arms ban and order to confiscate. These 70% are your fellow citizens and Patriots, who stand with you. Also, it would appear that 70-80% of the military stand with you in the event of an outright arms ban and confiscation order. They are also willing to engage the other 20-30%. I do not expect these minorities, in the face of overwhelming opposition by their own comrades in arms, to be willing to fight their brothers and sisters, or to come get your guns. This will only be attempted by a small, hand-picked group that is already pre-selected. I am certain that our police and military will band together with us against the confiscators when the chips are finally down. ( No use messing with your pension up until then.) In other words, to be a member of the Contrarian Civilian Confiscation Police is essentially a totally suicidal act. They know that they might even be taken out by their own, who have changed their minds about the whole thing in face of the opposition of the citizens of this country. That is why they will be so scared, so heavy-handed, and so quick to shoot.

The statistics I quote are of course anecdotal data, and I am sure that there are actual survey results out there that tell you much the same thing, but it reinforces what I have assumed all along. So, Dean Garrison having published my article merely brought this more out into the open. The added bonus to all of this is that articles such as mine are monitored under the so-called Patriot Act, so all of this that is happening now just reinforces what the government already knew.

This proves that if there is an armed uprising, we have won already. We have most of the police and the military with us right now. Look at the last Russian Revolution, the fall of all of the Communist governments in Eastern Europe in recent history. The gun banners only chance is to brutally suppress any uprising rapidly in the beginning so that it does not become a full-scale conflict. But they know that this will not happen, we will respond immediately. Hello?  YouTube?  Checkmate.

So I repeat, we have won already. There can be no outright gun ban.  But that does not negate the need to stay vigilant, stay the course, of course keep letting your words be heard, keep spreading these types of blogs. They still want to confiscate, but they have to do this one tiny piece at a time.  You keep probing the walls of the castle, looking for the weakest or most unguarded point, until you get in.  Beware of any Trojan horse hidden deep in other bills.

If everyone reads or posts this stuff, that is the real opposition, not the vote in the halls of Congress. And do not think that they are not privy to these sharing and usage statistics.

Also remember that, as hard as it may be to imagine, there are also Patriots in Congress itself.

Thank you for all of that useful information way back then, John Daniel Glasgow.

God Bless you all.

About responsible2all

I am a working stiff who finds it hard to get all the bills paid sometimes. I am basically happy with my far-from-boring, crazy, albeit fulfilled life. But I have watched the earth and the people upon it for a very long time now. And I know that the Freedoms of the Upper Man, whose last stronghold on earth is the United States of America, are under constant attack by the Scarlet Babylonian Antichrist, and by the Beast upon who She rides. So now, after all of these years of obscurity behind the Green Hedge, beneath the Veil of the Chuppah, above the Smoky Glass Ceiling, it is time to speak of the things which I have always Known, and have seen and heard, and have been taught on that Fateful Day, by John Daniel.

It will be up to us as individuals to speak up and make our voice heard loud and clear … there is no alternative.

  2. edsant says:

  3. All they can deprive you of is life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Walls and bars do not a prison make. You can still be free in spirit and mind. They can never possess your heart or mind or soul unless you let them. To lose those is the true death. Keep commenting on everything you read that you believe in, it is your right and responsibility. If push comes to shove, hot lead of course can replace heated words. But it is better to give someone until the last possible second to repent from their unreasoning ways. It still holds true as it has forever that you have to be willing to die for what you believe in to truly live.

  4. Jim says:

We in the past have been a silent majority. Recent events have simply made us “less silent”. Those who call for violent uprising have never been involved in armed conflict. I have, and take my word for it. YOU DON’T WANT IT. Once it starts, it can’t be stopped. Our Constitution provides the base that made this country great. We MUST support that.

    • Lordchamp says:

And how logically do support it without being willing to use arms to protect it? When elections are not longer honest and dependable, when our rights are being taken away on all sides, when we have less and less input to an already corrupt government, what options are left except the ammo box?

No common sense person wants this but when there are no other options do we give up and lose our liberties completely and become more of a slave than we already are or do we draw a line in the sand and stand ready if that line is crossed?

In my mind, the loss of liberty and freedom far outweighs the cost to retain it.

My line is drawn, not an inch more.

    • Citizen Patriot says:

Jim, I served in the Army for 31 years. I served in combat; two years in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot, as a pilot for “Just Cause”, as a combat helicopter unit commander during DS/DS, and as a recall to AD for our initial entry into Afghanistan.. I am a blooded combat soldier, I fully understand all the implications of an armed conflict. To a point, I agree with you. But there comes a point in history where one has no other peaceful options to protect our Constitution. We are fast approaching that final trip-wire to open rebellion.

  5. Yank lll says:

“So I repeat, we have won already. There can be no outright gun ban”

This kind of mindset is not only dangerous and wrong it is also inherently naive and the basic reason for the situation we presently find ourselves.
We haven’t won anything, we haven’t stopped anything and we still have a govt attacking our Liberty !!

You can only claim victory when you no longer have any enemy opposing you on the field of battle and our field of battle is everywhere these days in places like the internet, the media and within the foundations of our educational system.

    Hmmm.. shades of Chamberlain.

    • Lordchamp says:

I think you misunderstood him. There CAN be no gun ban because We the People do not accept one. Our acceptance is the only way ANY law can be dictated and enforced. If we refuse to comply, then the law in essence does not exist. That does not however, keep them from passing those laws and that is when the line is crossed.

Even though we will not comply that does not resolve them of the responsibility for their unlawful and treasonous acts.

That is the way I read what he said.

An American form of the Nuremberg trials comes to mind WITHOUT any international interference allowed or listened to in any form.

  6. Dann Diaz says:

I will be writing a detailed response to this and your previous Blog. The only thing I will say is that you can not fight with restraint trying to win the hearts and minds. In each and every case that this has been tried it has failed. Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan. Either fight to win or do not fight at all. Like I said more tomorrow.

    • Lordchamp says:

A revolution is a little different that the other situations you reference. A revolution is not necessarily fought to win the minds of the citizenry like you might when you go into another country and then hope to build a local, internal revolution to assist you in your battle.

However, I do agree with your statement about going in to win. Something the American politicians haven’t allowed since WWII and it’s cost us a lot of young lives.

I look forward to your full response.

  7. Derelict says:

“There are a lot of hotheads in this country who want to start shooting at the drop of a hat.”

Really? Lots of hats have dropped and I haven’t seen any shooting. Where, exactly, are all these hotheads?

  8. jason says:

Who in the world is going to be stupid enough to go out and get guns from people? Citizens have over 300 to 400 million guns. They will have bullet holes all in em.

  13. Rue McKee says:

I believe the gun confiscation will not be attempted by our own people. I believe outside forces will be used. My opinion.

  14. Expect a request for outside forces if it goes bad for them. We have won because America is in agreement for the most part on this, has been vocal, and they monitor all of this. There are daily reports on everything. They know the mood of the country, the police, the armed forces. No matter what the mainstream media says. The media are their puppets. They know we are tired of that show.

We have won because we agree. There is a lot more to do, but they already know they have to back down, or they will lose control of the whole country. We have won because we discuss this, and they are like the fly on the wall, listening in. They can pass all the laws they want, but the police and military will not enforce them nationwide all at once. Maybe here and there, under an excuse like Katrina, just to test the waters. I heard not a peep about confiscation after Sandy, unlike for Katrina.

Keep it up, war is ugly, and maybe you die. We have to keep winning here, because otherwise they will not be afraid of us. If they are not afraid, they may get bold enough to come. We win here, or it all goes to crap really quick. It would be terrible for the country, but their alternative is way, way worse. We keep discussing here, so they know we are still pissed off. Long after they think we should have cooled down. Well into 2014.

The hat has not dropped yet. Something like Waco or Ruby Ridge is the hat.
