Since my apparent opposition to gun control is not shared by all of my peers (and that is acceptable and welcomed) and there seems to be some disagreement among us what the 2nd Amendment means, I would like to do my best to explain my understanding of it, while also backing up what I have to say with facts and legal findings.

About Dean Garrison

Dean Garrison is a father of three, who faithfully pursues the American Dream. In the greatest country on earth there are hypocrites and liars abound, and he tries to expose them one at a time. It's time to get rid of the servant leaders who treat us as slaves.

One Response to An Analysis of the Second Amendment

I have been reading alot here about “democracy”,& the Constitution and even the bible.I think there is a little confusion here and we know that God is Not the author of confusion.
Bottom Line and let it be said that,God is Truth and every man a liar. Democracy means majority of all the people rules. Our government now uses media and preach democracy every where they go they work on carrying that endorsing that in every country for its strongest influence. But “We The People” are a Republic & NOT a Democracy. We are a nation of LAWS,Not where majority always rules, however we have come to believe that. That’s how we come to politacal parties “Democrat” & Republican. One wants to do anything they want to (left) and the other says we have to go by a set standard of Rules (right). The Constitution lays out what those rules are.The ammendments can be changed but only by the Rule of law.The bible 10 commandments ARE THE LAW and that is guidline in which the Constitution was written. We have the Ammendments to the Constitution that we call our Rights. The Ammendments can be tweeked but the LAW will NEVER be changed. We have the right to survive in any order that we may choose but only by the Grace of God we will find that way.We like guns as our tools, they kill our food, protect us and our families and put us on a level playing ground where one person is not more superior to the other.Sharper than the two edged sword which was used in close combat battles only the gun lenthened our playing field in battle as well as hunting for food. Now we enjoy a fairness for all as well as a way to provide for our families.
